Impact Hub Academy Presents Boulder Earth Week Event Series – Earth Day Jamboree!

April 22, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm

On April 22nd, we invite you to the Earth Day Jamboree, an Earth Day afterparty and fundraiser for bicycle power produced by Solutions Voyage in partnership with the Permaculture Action Network and Impact Hub Boulder.
This event will be a capstone to a Solutions Voyage crowdfunding campaign to raise money for a bicycle power generation station, a fleet of five bicycles which will be able to provide electricity for music, lights, and tools at actions along the Front Range.
The event, held at Impact Hub Boulder, will include live music, a healer’s jam, action opportunities and food and beverages.

Solutions Voyage will launch the Indiegogo Campaign to raise $ for a Bicycle Power Station Next WedMarch 22
We will have exactly one month to raise $7K for the Bicycle Power Station!
We will share the link with you once they have launched the campaign.

Action Day

On April 23rd, we invite you to a Permaculture Action Day at Sister Gardens, 2861 W 52nd Ave, Denver.
Permaculture Action Days are community volunteer days which bring people together to make permanent infrastructure improvements at urban farms. In addition to the projects, these days always include music, food, and workshops on topics ranging from introductory permaculture design to antiracism to composting.  On April 23rd, we will be mulching garden beds in preparation for the growing season, painting the garden facade, and building a shade structure.

The action day, produced by Solutions Voyage, the Permaculture Action Network, and Groundwork Denver, will be held from 10AM-6PM.

Sister Gardens is managed by Urbiculture Community Farms, a project of Groundwork Denver. This urban farm in Northwest Denver serves as an outdoor classroom for low income youth, gathering place for activist organizations, and farm which provides thousands of pounds of food annually through a pay-what-you-want farm stand, donations to low income housing, and sales to restaurants.
