An avid environmentalist, Cameron Brooks describes himself as an outdoorsman with a mission to preserve the sanctity of nature. From a young age, Cameron found himself enamored by environmental issues, inspired by those before him to facilitate positive change. Cameron credits much of his motivation and inspiration to one of the more influential Executive Directors of the famed Sierra Club, David Brower. Brower is known by some as the “father of the modern environmental movement.”
Exploring new options for the purchase of energy and evaluating the complex legal boundaries of environmental policy, Cameron is a man on a mission. He has devoted his life’s work to establishing how society can use energy to be kinder to the planet. Today, Cameron is the president of Tolerable Planet Enterprises, the strategic advisory firm he founded in 2003. Cameron believes that the ability to incite change through shaping society is one of the most valuable components of business.
Cameron credits Impact Hub Boulder as a strong source of his motivation and inspiration. The eclectic mix of people that surround the exterior of his Hub office are an invaluable tool for generating creative thought.
